New Cast Iron BookendsBy Mark Chervenka
New Cast Iron Bookends
These cast iron bookends weigh a hefty five pounds each. But don't be fooled; they're new.
The factory applied finishes are meant to look old. You can choose from a rusted finish or "distressed" white or black paint. Distressed, by the way, means chips and scratches for that "antique" look. Size is 6″ high, 4½″ wide, 2¼″ deep.
As far as we can tell, these pieces are virtually identical to old originals. The surface and edges of the new are rougher than originals but this is less obvious on the white and black versions than pieces with the rusted finish.

Available rusted or with distressed paint in white or black
